Culture of Wellness is a community for anyone wanting to live well and thrive daily in body, mind and spirit. Whether you are a health connoisseur or you consider yourself a health novice, you belong here!
Our main goal is to create a community where people can come together regularly to share information, support one another, have fun, and grow together in all areas of wellness. We want to create a space where we can walk alongside one another in a unique journey toward wholeness. (Bonus: involvement in a community has positive benefits on your health!)
We aim to EDUCATE, EMPOWER, and ENCOURAGE you to eat well, pray honestly, exercise regularly, think clearly and care deliberately within a community.

PRAY HONESTLY. Personal prayer—one-to-one conversation with your heavenly Father—is an opportunity to pray honestly. Honest prayer is when we speak our hearts and allow God to change our hearts. Honest prayer is God changing us from the inside out so we impact other people and our world for the better.

EXERCISE REGULARLY. Exercise is important for our physical health and our mental health. It also plays a part in our diet and how we digest our food. We believe it is important for exercise to be enjoyable, at your own pace and to meet your own needs.

THINK CLEARLY. Our minds are important and play a powerful role in shaping our lives. Learning to think right helps us to eat well, exercise regularly, pray honestly and care deliberately. We want to unleash the power of positive thinking. In other words, let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:8 (MSG)
CARE DELIBERATELY. Caring begins with strong hearts and minds. Concern for our wellbeing, for our family and friends, for our community, and for our world naturally flows out of healthy inner beings. Caring for our physical environment is only one aspect of the many opportunities to care outwardly. Caring from the inside out is sustainable and truly life-changing.

THRIVE GRACEFULLY. Eating well, praying honestly, exercising regularly, thinking clearly and caring deliberately is living how God intended: Grace-FULLY in mind, body and spirit.
IN COMMUNITY. It is easy to get discouraged, and criticize yourself or others. In Culture of Wellness we want to encourage each other, to be able to relax and enjoy time in community.

Culture of Wellness gives you the tools to be active and practice wellness at your own pace.
What to expect: In addition to our regular monthly meetings we will have Wellness Workshops. These will include: Nutrition classes. Physical workout classes. Prayer Walking. Nordic Walking.
